Purchasing Executive
- Reviews and approves purchase order placement of purchasing assistant and buyers for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instruction, policies, and procedures
- Liaise with vendor to negotiate improved pricing, product quality and delivery
- Negotiating and supervising supply contracts and formulate policies with supplier
- Participate in the development of specification of services, equipments, products, supplies or substitute materials with users
- Attends internal product development meetings to identify new product demands, schedules and procurement needs
- Review, evaluate and approve specificationfrom user's prior requesting prices from suppliers through RFQ process
- Prepares and presents reports on all information related to purchasing activity
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related area.
- Self starter and can work independently and willing to learn new task as an when given by the supervisior
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be proactive, resourceful and creative
